Job summary

Aescape Inc., based in New York City, is seeking a Robotics Test Engineer to own the reliability and manufacturing test program across EVT to mass production. You will lead test protocol development, fixture implementation, and data-driven decision making in a fast-paced hardware environment.

Hybrid role in NYC with heavy collaboration across Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical and Software teams. Requires 5+ years in hardware test, strong Python, and hands-on lab experience.

Qualifications

• BS degree in relevant engineering with minimum 5 years in hardware reliability/test.
• Strong Python for test automation and data analysis.
• Ability to write SOPs, specifications and reports with disciplined documentation.
• Experience with contract manufacturers and suppliers driving test implementation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end reliability and manufacturing test program through NPI to mass production.
• Define tests, write SOPs, protocols and specifications; validate against ERD.
• Manage test fixtures with CM and suppliers; coordinate testing across sites.
• Lead failure analysis with mechanical, electrical and software teams to root cause.
• Travel internationally ~10% to CM and supplier sites.
