Job summary

Aescape, a New York-based robotics company, seeks a Robotics Test Engineer to own reliability and manufacturing testing across the product lifecycle. You will build and manage test protocols, fixtures, and software, coordinating with HQ labs, CM, and suppliers on the floor.

The role requires hands-on lab work, SolidWorks CAD review, LabVIEW proficiency, and strong data-driven decision making. Hybrid work from NYC with ~10% international travel.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics with 5+ years in reliability/test engineering.
• Experience with robotics or consumer electronics hardware.
• Willingness to travel internationally ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end reliability and manufacturing test program from NPI to mass production.
• Maintain and develop HQ reliability lab and plan environment/life testing.
• Define and deploy tests at CM and suppliers, manage fixtures and test software.
• Lead failure analysis with cross-functional teams to drive root causes.
• Travel internationally ~10% to CM and supplier sites.
