Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or higher with applicable robotics focus.
• Advanced degree preferred for roles involving prototyping and R&D.
• Strong background in robotics, automation, sensing and motion systems.

Responsibilities

• Research, prototype, test and iterate robotics/automation concepts.
• Define components, products or processes for pathology lab applications.
• Create potentially patentable hardware or software solutions.
• Work with a cross functional agile technical team and present results.
• Perform simulations, analyses and experiments to validate hypotheses.
• Design, build and test prototype hardware and software systems.
• Deliver presentations of project results to diverse audiences.
• Participate in project planning within an agile team.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
