BEPC Inc. is actively seeking a Robotics Automation Engineer (Research and Early Development) to join our client’s site in Tucson, Arizona. The role centers on prototyping and integrating motion-control and robotics systems, using machine vision for calibration and working with general robotics and physical AI.

In an agile research environment, you will design, prototype, and test hardware and software, perform analyses, and present results to cross-functional teams to advance project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with years of related experience.
• Master’s or PhD preferred with related research experience.
• Expert knowledge of robotic/mechatronic engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced engineering knowledge to research projects.
• Define new components, products, or processes for applications.
• Create potentially patentable components or systems.
• Perform simulations, analyses, and experiments to test hypotheses.
• Design, build, and test prototype hardware and software systems.
