Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a talented and motivated Quality Engineer to support an advanced manufacturing line and drive quality improvements. This role reports to Product Quality Engineering within the Robotics Manufacturing and Technical Operations organization.

You will work on diagnostic trees, data collection, and continuous improvement projects, presenting weekly quality data to peers. Travel ~20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent.
• 1+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Actively support and foster a culture of inclusion
• Production Floor Support
• Develop standard failure diagnostic decision trees and train peer departments on supporting processes.
• Identify quality trends, escalate, and lead investigations
• Provide regular updates on quality investigations to stakeholders
• Communicate internal production defects and trends to suppliers
• Travel estimated at 20%
• Data Collection/Presentation and Continuous Improvement Projects
• Present weekly quality data to peer teams
• Perform data collection and visualization
