Job summary

Yaskawa Motoman is seeking a Project Manager to lead robotic systems projects. You will manage schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams, ensuring milestones are met and customer objectives are achieved.

The role requires substantial experience in project management within robotic systems, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across stakeholders. This position is based in Irvine, CA and will involve travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree and eight to eleven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum seven years experience as a Project Manager in the robotic systems business.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall contract execution.
• Assist/lead, generating and managing program schedules, managing project budget and helping set resource priorities.
• Attend project kick-off meeting and prepare the project team to ensure that objectives are accomplished.
• Issue a schedule for all projects and provide timely updates to customer and project team.
• Conduct regular project meetings with the project team and with the customer, recording and distributing information.
