Job summary

Amazon Robotics in North Reading, MA is seeking a Production Technician to support robotics assembly, material handling, and product packaging. The role involves building electro-mechanical units, testing, and preparing products for shipment within the assembly and logistics teams.

Responsibilities include shipping, receiving, tracking, and coordinating with suppliers and customers, while seeking process improvements to meet on-time delivery targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
• Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical units following industry best practices
• Shipping, receiving, maintaining, tracking, and delivering goods for manufacturing following appropriate protocols
• Learn systems and tools for material management and coordinate delivery with suppliers and customers
• Seek improvements in processes to ensure on-time delivery of goods
• Operate Power Industrial Equipment and pallet jacks for loading/unloading
• Follow written/verbal instructions and use standard manufacturing tools
