Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Production Technician II (2nd Shift) to join the Robotics Manufacturing & Technical Operations team in North Reading, MA. You will work on robotic assembly, material handling, and packaging for internally manufactured Amazon products.

Responsibilities include building electro-mechanical units, shipping and receiving, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Experience in a high volume, high production operations environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical units following industry best practices.
• Ship, receive, maintain, track, and deliver goods for manufacturing.
• Coordinate methods of delivery with suppliers and customers.
• Identify improvements to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
• Operate Power Industrial Equipment & pallet jacks for loading/unloading trailers.
• Follow written/verbal instructions and use common manufacturing tools.

Job Overview
Amazon Robotics is seeking a Production Technician who will be responsible for Robotics assembly, Material Handling, and product packaging.

Job Requirements:
Production Technicians are members of the Assembly and Logistics teams within the general manufacturing team responsible for building, automated testing, and packaging of Amazon products manufactured internally.

Key job responsibilities

• - Required tasks and build electro-mechanical units utilizing industry best practices.
• - Shipping, receiving, maintaining, tracking, and delivering goods for manufacturing following appropriate protocols.
• - Learning systems and tools for material management as well as coordinate methods of delivery with suppliers and customers
• - Seeking out improvements in processes to continuously meet on time delivery of goods.
• - Ability to operate Power Industrial Equipment & pallet jacks for loading and unloading trailers
• - General knowledge of manufacturing tools (including but not limited to torque tools, wrenches, channel locks, etc.) and follow written/verbal instructions

Basic Qualifications

• - Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal

• - Experience in computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• - Experience with Oracle ERP software and manufacturing execution systems
