Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Production Technician II (2nd Shift) to join the Robotics Manufacturing & Technical Operations team in North Reading, MA. You will work on robotic assembly, material handling, and packaging for internally manufactured Amazon products.

Responsibilities include building electro-mechanical units, shipping and receiving, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Experience in a high volume, high production operations environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical units following industry best practices.
• Ship, receive, maintain, track, and deliver goods for manufacturing.
• Coordinate methods of delivery with suppliers and customers.
• Identify improvements to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
• Operate Power Industrial Equipment & pallet jacks for loading/unloading trailers.
• Follow written/verbal instructions and use common manufacturing tools.
