Job summary

ICON is seeking a Robotics Framework Engineer II to join their Software team in Austin, TX. This role focuses on developing the frameworks and tooling that allow the robotics engineers to efficiently ship production-quality code. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Robotics or a related field and at least 5 years of software engineering experience.

Your responsibilities will include managing CI/CD pipelines, maintaining software testing environments, and collaborating with robotics engineers to enhance platform capabilities. A deep understanding of modern C++ and experience with ROS frameworks is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 2 years in robotics or embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of foundational robotics math.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the shared robotics software framework.
• Own the CI/CD pipelines for embedded and robotics codebases.
• Build and maintain SIL and HIL test infrastructures.

Skills

Proficiency in modern C++ (17 or newer)
