Job summary

ICON is seeking a Robotics Framework Engineer II in Austin, TX to join their Software team. This role focuses on owning frameworks, tooling, and DevOps systems for robotics engineers to ensure high-quality code.

The ideal candidate will work on shared robotics software frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and automation across simulated and hardware targets. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in software engineering, especially in robotics or embedded systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in robotics or embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to write production-quality, well-documented, testable code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the shared robotics software framework.
• Own the CI/CD pipelines for embedded and robotics codebases.
• Develop and maintain software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test infrastructure.
