Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a temporary RME Mechanical & Robotics Maintenance Technician II to support a high‑volume facility in Hebron, KY. You will repair, maintain, and improve material handling and automated packaging equipment, ensuring safe, efficient operation with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, reading blueprints, and performing preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining material handling equipment.
• Experience with conveyors, robotics, and automation in industrial settings.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical docs.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot material handling equipment and conveyors.
• Install and service automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using test equipment.
• Read blueprints and install/repair components per specs.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
