Job summary

Dyna Robotics, a leader in embodied AI robotics, is seeking an engineer to own the network performance for remote teleoperation and production deployments. You will build the fleet connectivity stack, monitor link health, and implement automated failover to ensure reliable robot operation.

The role emphasizes field-ready tooling, real-time diagnostics, and tight collaboration with researchers to support training data uploads and live debugging.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience debugging real-world networks including WiFi troubleshooting and packet-level diagnostics.
• Strong understanding of TCP/UDP behavior on lossy, high-jitter links and Linux networking (routing, tc, firewalls, VPNs).
• Record of shipping production-quality software in C++, Rust, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Own network performance for remote teleoperation and ensure low latency and graceful degradation.
• Build fleet connectivity stack with monitoring, diagnostics, and automated failover.
• Own network aspects of site bring-up and configure QoS and VPN per site.
• Design connectivity for real-world chaos including warehouse WiFi dead zones and VPN networks.
• Diagnose field issues on networks you don't control and implement fixes to prevent repeats.
• Ensure office and demo networks are rock-solid for live demonstrations.
• Collaborate with engineers and researchers to support training data uploads and live model debugging.
• Be the go-to person when connectivity is critical in demos or field incidents.
