Job summary

Dyna Robotics in Redwood City, CA, is seeking an engineer to own the health of our humanoid robot fleet, from diagnosing hardware failures to building telemetry and tooling for proactive maintenance.

This is a genuinely hands-on role at the intersection of hardware, firmware, controls, and data infrastructure. You will bench-test actuators, design fixtures, roll out fleet health metrics, and write runbooks so a teammate can pick up where you left off.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, bench-level hardware repair experience.
• Experience with actuators failures and calibration.
• Ability to build and use test rigs.
• Strong Python and data analysis skills.
• Experience with telemetry and logs processing.

Responsibilities

• Root-cause complex fleet failures.
• Bench-test actuators and electronics.
• Design and fabricate test fixtures and mounts.
• Translate data into design changes and improvements.
• Build fleet health metrics and telemetry pipelines.
• Develop calibration and test tooling.
• Manage robot telemetry at scale.
• Write Runbooks and handoff packages.
• Review PRs and propose fixes.
