Job summary

eBay is expanding its team with a Mechanical Production Support Engineer focused on the Roca Robotics platform assembly processes. You will own mechanical assembly processes and contribute to improving tooling and testing during product development.

We seek a mechanical engineer with CAD experience and a passion for building sorting robots that solve real customer problems. This is an on-site role with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Experience with Computer Aided Design, SolidWorks or Siemens NX preferred.
• Experience with assembling and testing prototypes.
• Experience with design for manufacturing.
• Experience owning deliverables for complex electro-mechanical system assembly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with specialists, assembly technicians, quality technicians, and customer support teams to build reliable solutions.
• Design and implement tests involving card handling and mechanical designs.
• Own mechanical improvements to current and future product assembly processes.
• Own deliverables and update collaborators on projects.
