Job summary

Cobot is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee inventory, BOM-to-kit conversion, and shipments at our Santa Clara headquarters. You will drive efficiency, accuracy, and readiness for production, partnering with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.

The role requires hands-on experience in hardware manufacturing environments, plus strong data- and process‑driven improvements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in materials management, inventory control, or warehouse ops.
• Experience translating BOMs, work orders, or production schedules into material and kitting needs.
• Experience with receiving, inventory transactions, cycle counts, and discrepancy reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel for maintaining material records and shortages.
• Experience using inventory management software or ERP/MRP tools.
• Ability to independently prioritize daily materials work and drive improvements.
• Strong written and verbal communication across Supply Chain, Engineering, Production, and Manufacturing partners.
• Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 30 pounds and have US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations: receiving, storing, logging inventory, issuing materials, and assembling kits for production.
• Maintain inventory accuracy across stock locations via cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Convert BOMs, work orders, and schedules into detailed kit lists with Build teams to manage changes.
• Spot inventory shortages, part discrepancies, and supply risks; communicate schedule impacts cross-functionally.
• Establish neat storage and kitting layouts for quick retrieval and replenishment as operations scale.
• Oversee inbound freight and shipments, verify quantities, and organize incoming quality inspections.
• Maintain material records using spreadsheets and inventory software; drive process improvements.
• Uphold standard protocols for material handling and logistics; coordinate specialized handling.
