Job summary

Genesis is a full-stack, robotic company based in the Bay Area and abroad. We are seeking an inventory and kit operations lead who will own receiving, shipping, kit assembly, serialization and the prop library across production floors and partner sites.

You will build and maintain kits, track parts and sub-assemblies, and ensure new deployments arrive on day one with everything needed. Strong organization and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in shipping, receiving, inventory or kitting in a hardware, lab, manufacturing or field-operations environment.
• Experience running an inventory system and cycle counts with accurate counts.
• Familiar with barcode or QR workflows.
• Experience building kits to a bill of materials and shipping them to deadlines, including internationally.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and shipping: incoming deliveries checked against the order, serial numbers captured, items stored the same day; outbound shipments documented and tracked, including international shipments.
• Kit building and serialization: assemble collection kits, test power-on and pairing, serialize and label, and keep records of kit locations.
• Inventory: track kits, devices, spares, consumables, tools and fixtures with locations and counts; perform cycle counts and reorder before stock runs out.
• Props and objects library: maintain IDs, locations, photos; check out to stations and return; keep library in sync with tasks.
• Station kitting: kit new stations from BOM, keep stations stocked, support moves and re-layouts.
• New sites and deployments: build kit packages for partner sites, ship them, confirm receipt and setup.
• Production inventory: receive and store production parts, kit to build schedule, maintain production stockroom.
• Records and systems: tag assets and keep inventory system current, weekly stock counts.
• Space: organize receiving, inventory, stockroom and staging areas for order and safety.
