Job summary

COBOT in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Warehouse/Materials Manager to oversee inventory, kitting, and operations for hardware production. You will translate BOMs into material requirements, maintain accuracy, and lead cross-functional coordination with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing.

The role requires hands-on experience with inventory systems, ERP/MRP tools, and a fast-paced startup mindset; relocation support is offered for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in materials management, inventory control, warehouse operations, or related role with hands-on hardware manufacturing support.
• Experience translating BOMs, work orders, or production schedules into material and kit requirements and managing changes.
• Proficiency with receiving, inventory transactions, cycle counts, discrepancy reconciliation, and documentation.
• Ability to use Google Sheets or Excel to maintain material records and track kits and shortages.
• Experience with inventory management software or ERP/MRP tools to maintain material records and transactions.
• Strong prioritization and communication skills to coordinate across Supply Chain, Engineering, Production and Manufacturing.
• Comfort in fast-paced startup environment and ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds; US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, logging inventory transactions, issuing materials, and assembling kits.
• Maintain inventory accuracy across stock locations with cycle counts, reconciliations and check-in/out procedures.
• Convert BOMs, work orders, and schedules into detailed kit lists and coordinate with Hardware Engineering and Build teams.
• Spot shortages, discrepancies and supply risks; communicate schedule impacts with cross-functional partners.
• Organize storage and kitting layouts for quick retrieval and scalable assembly operations.
• Oversee inbound freight and shipments, verify quantities and conduct incoming quality inspections.
• Maintain material records using spreadsheets and inventory software; drive process improvements and tool definitions.
• Uphold standard material handling, warehousing, and logistics protocols with specialized handling where needed.
