Job summary

Slip Robotics in Norcross, GA is seeking a Material Handling Team Lead to own and optimize material flow on the production floor. You will supervise two handlers, manage receiving, line-side presentation, and end-of-line pack/ship while coordinating with Logistics.

Expect active problem-solving, continuous improvement, and hands-on leadership on the floor. You will drive inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and adherence to 5S/storage standards, ensuring smooth production throughput and safe,

Qualifications

• 2+ years in material handling, warehouse, or production materials.
• Hands-on experience receiving, storing, and replenishing parts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Safety-first mindset and comfortable holding others accountable to it.
• Organized and detail-oriented — you notice when a label or count is off.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Own the receiving process and verify inbound parts against packing lists and PO’s.
• Route material to incoming inspection and put away receipts the same day.
• Keep receiving dock organized to prevent backups.
• Own line-side material presentation to avoid build stops.
• Kit subassemblies and stage parts ahead of line needs.
• Size and replenish supermarkets against schedule and kanban signals.
• Pick and deliver materials for intra-plant moves.
• Execute replenishment triggers and flag when levels need adjustment.
• Escalate shortages with details to prevent production delays.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and ensure proper disposal of packaging waste.
• Own end-of-line pick, pack, and ship for finished goods.
