Job summary

Redwood Materials Inc. seeks a Lead Material Flow Specialist to manage daily warehouse operations, coordinate staffing, and ensure safe, efficient material movement.

You will mentor associates, uphold inventory integrity, and drive improvements across production support functions. You will lead with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and accountability, coordinating across Production, Logistics, and Quality teams to meet shared goals.

Qualifications

• Experience leading warehouse or manufacturing teams.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory transactions.
• PIT/Forklift certification or operating experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and continuous improvement.
• Ability to coordinate teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow, staffing assignments, and priorities to support production and material flow goals.
• Lead and support warehouse associates, promoting safety, quality, and accountability.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and support adjustments and controls.
• Serve as primary contact for operational issues, shipping requests, inventory inquiries, and cross-functional coordination.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve process, inventory, and quality issues; escalate as needed.
• Support development and implementation of standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Train, mentor, and coach associates on safety, equipment operation, and processes.
• Coordinate activities with Production, Logistics, Quality, and other departments for alignment.
• Communicate performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities to leadership.
• Maintain compliance with safety requirements, inspection procedures, and standards.
• Perform additional duties and special projects to support objectives.
