Slip Robotics is a fast-growing B2B robotics company that deploys autonomous loading and unloading robots at warehouse sites across North America. We seek a Production Manager to own the assembly floor, manage the daily build, the schedule, and the team that turns parts into reliable SlipBots and SlipLifts.

This hands-on role focuses on execution, throughput, and quality. You will partner with Industrial and Manufacturing Engineers, Supply Chain, and Quality to scale operations, implement

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in production, assembly, or manufacturing operations
• 2+ years directly managing hourly technicians or assemblers
• Hands-on experience running a mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly line
• Experience creating shift structure, work assignments, and training or certification programs
• Working knowledge of an ERP or MES for work orders and inventory transactions (NetSuite or similar)
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of material
• Safety-first mindset and a track record of enforcing it on the floor
• Startup or fast-paced environment experience; building process while running it

Aufgaben

• Own the Build: manage daily/weekly production schedule and hit build/ship dates
• Run the floor day-to-day: line balancing, staffing, and finished goods handoffs
• Track units built, on-time completion, first-pass yield, labor hours per unit, rework
• Escalate shortages, tooling gaps, and blockers to protect the schedule
• Establish a daily production cadence: start-up, stand-up, end-of-day status
• Lead, schedule, and develop a team of assembly technicians with clear expectations
• Own hiring, onboarding, and cross-training as the floor scales
• Certify technicians against documented work instructions and enforce standards
• Own safety on the floor: PPE, lockout/tagout, safety walks
• Maintain accurate production transactions in the ERP — work orders, completions, material consumption
• Support new product introduction: staff and run pilot builds and give feedback
