Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support critical system builds on the production floor for a surgical robotics platform. You will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Planning, and Quality to keep builds moving safely, compliantly, and on schedule.

The role focuses on rapid issue resolution, material coordination, tool readiness, and disciplined execution so engineering resources can stay focused on verification and development

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on mechanical and electromechanical troubleshooting on the manufacturing floor.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, schematics, and SOPs.
• Experience in medical devices or other regulated/high-reliability environments.
• Experience supporting engineering builds, pilot lines, NPI, and V&V activities.
• Familiarity with NC workflows, nonconformance processes, and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of MES/ERP/PLM or electronic quality systems.
• Lean manufacturing, 5S, or structured problem-solving experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on floor support during engineering, development, verification, and production builds.
• Respond quickly to line interruptions and blockers with containment and escalation.
• Support nonconformance activities including containment, disposition, and action follow-up.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electromechanical issues using approved procedures and drawings.
• Coordinate build readiness and schedule execution with Production and Planning.
• Ensure material availability and address shortages or kitting issues.
• Support line moves, equipment placement, and floor changes.
• Maintain documentation in manufacturing and quality systems.
• Participate in stand-ups and build-readiness reviews.
• Identify recurring floor issues and provide data for root-cause analysis.
• Uphold safety, quality, and compliance in regulated environment.
