Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a skilled MFG Specialist Technician Lead to oversee installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of our automated manufacturing equipment in North Reading, MA. You will lead a team, ensure equipment readiness, and own safety and quality standards on the line.

You will collaborate with engineering and operations to implement 6S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring on-time production and optimal line performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and maintenance of specialized industrial equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Lead daily team communication, safety, and shift handoffs.
• Drive continuous improvement and preventive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with Engineering on tooling revisions and maintenance planning.
