Job summary

Amazon Robotics in North Reading, MA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to oversee installation and maintenance of our industrial equipment. You will keep production lines running, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot breakdowns to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, experience with automated material handling systems, and proficiency with Oracle ERP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Experience using English for written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for long shifts.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Install new equipment and read manuals/blueprints to source parts.
• Service and maintain motors, conveyors, transmissions, and production devices.
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment and repair hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Troubleshoot PLC and control systems; install wiring for power and control.
• Inspect production machinery and identify root causes of problems.
• Provide preventive maintenance per schedules and document reports.
