Job summary

Intuitive Surgical, Inc. is offering a Summer 2027 internship in Sunnyvale, CA for Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering students. The program supports multiple manufacturing-focused openings and requires full-time availability for 10–12 weeks during May or June.

Interns will engage in hands-on engineering tasks for medical devices and robotic systems, with opportunities to prototype, analyze processes, and collaborate across teams. Housing allowance is provided; onsite workplace. Shift: Day

Qualifications

Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or relevant Engineering degree-seeking program at the Bachelor's level (Master's considered with relevant experience).
Intern will work full-time for a 10-12 week period starting May or June 2027.
