• Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering degree-seeking program at the Bachelor's level. Master's level students will also be considered based on specific relevant experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering tasks, problem-solving and documentation for medical device development and surgical robotic systems.
• Design, assemble and debug mechanical/electromechanical test fixtures to evaluate designs.
• Develop and execute performance tests on prototypes to inform design decisions.
• Contribute design concepts or refine existing designs for the product.
