Job summary

Agile Robots in the US, starting with our Silicon Valley HQ, seeks a hands-on IT & Facilities Technician to keep people, systems and robots running across Palo Alto and Petaluma. You will be the first IT contact here, coordinating with the Munich team on end-user support, device management, robot setup and on-site facilities tasks.

This broad, practical role spans imaging laptops, wiring demo cells, mounting displays, and maintaining rooms and networks.

Qualifications

• E3+ years in on-prem IT support, including 3+ years of hands-on Windows 11 support.
• 3+ years of basic networking (switching, VLANs, Wi‑Fi, structured cabling).
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with tools and basic wiring docs.
• Practical experience with setting up or maintaining physical equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and accurate ticket/inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding and offboarding: create/disable accounts, set up devices, recover and recycle equipment.
• Windows/MacOS device management: enroll, deploy software, troubleshoot issues.
• IT support at 1st and 2nd level: resolve tickets end-to-end with ITSM.
• Robot setup and commissioning: unpack, power, network, configure, test demos.
• Robot maintenance: routine checks, firmware/software updates, part coordination.
• IT storage and asset management: track devices and spares, maintain inventory.
• General on-site support: set up meeting rooms, printers, AV, cabling; furniture.
• Shipping/receiving and logistics for demos and customer sites.
• Collaborate with Munich IT and internal PMO on projects.
• Multi-site coverage with regular travel between Palo Alto and Petaluma.
