Job summary

Agile Robots in Silicon Valley is seeking an experienced IT & Facilities Technician to be the first point of contact for IT across Palo Alto and Petaluma. You will handle end‑user IT support, device and asset management, and robot setup and maintenance.

Working with the Munich IT team, you will deploy software, manage laptops, support meetings and facilities, and travel regularly between US sites to keep people, systems and robots running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Windows 11 support.
• 3+ years of basic networking (switching, VLANs, Wi‑Fi, cabling).
• Hands-on aptitude with mechanical and electrical tasks.
• Experience setting up or maintaining robots or industrial hardware.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding/offboarding: create/disable accounts, set up devices, recover and recycle equipment.
• Manage Windows/MacOS devices: enroll, deploy software, troubleshoot issues.
• Provide IT support at 1st/2nd level via ITSM tickets and escalate to 3rd level as needed.
• Robot setup and commissioning: unpack, assemble, power, network and configure systems and demo cells.
• Robot maintenance: preventive checks, firmware/software updates, coordinate with Munich for faults.
