Job summary

Upper Valley Career Center Adult Technology Center in Piqua, Ohio seeks an AE Robotics Instructor to teach fundamentals of FANUC and Yaskawa robotics with hands-on lab work. Classes may be delivered at the ATC or on-site at client sites, up to 40 hours over 4-5 weeks, on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, coordinating with employers, and preparing students for industry credentials. An Ohio Adult Education Permit and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• 5 years' work experience OR degree with 3 years in manufacturing with PLC experience.
• Experience with FANUC R30iB Plus and Yaskawa YRC1000 controllers is required.
• Valid Ohio State Board of Education Adult Education Permit or ability to obtain.
• Meets health screening requirements and can pass BC/FBI background check.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates student learning activities encouraging teamwork and employability skills.
• Develops lesson plans for classroom and laboratory settings.
• Monitors student progress using formal and informal assessments.
• Coordinates with employers to provide real-world experiences for students.
• Prepares students for industry credential assessments.
• Assists program coordinator with curriculum development and scheduling.
