Mmsteam in East Peoria, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support industrial equipment and robotic automation. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on training, exposure to robotics, and a clear path into advanced manufacturing.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and robotic systems, replace wear components, and log work in the CMMS. This full‑time 2nd shift position pays $20.00–$22.00 per hour plus shift differential and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance, mechanical, manufacturing, automotive, robotics, or hands‑on technical experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or automation systems is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and robotic systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and robotic equipment issues.
• Replace belts, bearings, chains, rollers, filters, and other wear components.
• Help repair conveyors, motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Record completed work in the CMMS maintenance system.
