Job summary

GRAM seeks a hands-on technician to build, wire, instrument, inspect, rework, and test insectoid subsystems on the shop floor. You will turn engineering releases into physical hardware, identify discrepancies early, and maintain traceability from test results to installed articles. Expect hands-on work across fasteners, harnesses, sensors, and calibration artifacts on a fast-paced production floor.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling, testing, maintaining, or servicing electromechanical hardware to documented requirements.
• Hands-on with mechanical and electrical assembly processes.
• Familiar with measurement instruments and inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical subsystems from drawings, BOMs, schematics, and instructions.
• Fabricate, route, terminate, label, inspect, and test wiring harnesses and sensor leads.
• Install instrumentation and operate test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Perform subsystem checkout, calibration support, functional test, and machine bring-up.
• Diagnose build discrepancies using measurements, logs, and known-good comparisons; escalate as needed.
• Execute approved rework and verify restored condition through inspection and retest.
