Job summary

GRAM in El Segundo is seeking a hands-on technician to assemble, test, and service electromechanical hardware. You will fabricate wiring harnesses, install instrumentation, perform subsystem checkout, and maintain detailed records linking tests to the floor article.

You will diagnose build discrepancies using measurements, drawings, and logs; perform approved rework, and verify condition with retests. This on-site role emphasizes precision, safety, and accountability.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling, testing, maintaining, or servicing electromechanical hardware to documented requirements.
• Built or serviced hardware from drawings, schematics, BOMs, and procedures.
• Proficient in mechanical assembly and electrical workmanship, including torque fastening and connector work.
• Used measurement and diagnostic equipment to accept or troubleshoot hardware.
• Documented nonconformances and supported corrective work with verification.

Responsibilities

• Assemble subsystems from drawings, BOMs, schematics, and instructions.
• Fabricate, route, terminate, label, inspect, and test wiring harnesses and sensors.
• Install instrumentation and operate test equipment (multimeters, scopes, power supplies).
• Perform subsystem checkout, calibration support, functional test, and bring-up under procedures.
• Diagnose build discrepancies with measurements and logs; escalate as needed.
• Execute approved rework and verify restored condition with retesting.
• Maintain build travelers, traceability, and as-built documentation.
