Areté is seeking junior and mid-level engineers in Niwot, CO, to bridge software and hardware across drones, sensors, and FPGAs. You will design, implement, and test electro-optic systems with a focus on embedded real-time control and hardware-software integration. The role requires a B.S.

or higher in Robotics or a related field and 3+ years of experience, proficiency in Python and C/C++, and hands-on experience with robotic sensors. U.S. citizenship and security eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in Robotics, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in robotics or related engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++, and embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test electro-optic systems with a team.
• Develop embedded software for real-time control and sensing platforms.
• Support system design from concept to production.
• Write efficient code to interface with hardware and optimize performance.
• Collaborate across disciplines to bring prototypes to production readiness.
• Contribute to robotics, computer vision, motion control, and real-time data acquisition projects.
