Fauna Robotics, an Amazon company, seeks an Embedded and Electrical Engineering Manager to lead electrical hardware, embedded firmware, and compute subsystems through architecture, validation, and manufacturing.

You will guide a multi-disciplinary team across electronics, embedded software, testing, and integration, building safety‑certifiable power and control electronics for robotics platforms and driving cost‑efficient mass production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in electrical/embedded systems with 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience leading full product cycles for complex electromechanical systems.
• Demonstrated BOM cost-down, PCBA consolidation, and design optimization.
• Experience scaling manufacturing from prototype to volume production.
• Experience managing PCB fabricators, contract manufacturers, suppliers, and test labs.
• Ability to participate in architecture and detailed design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware, embedded software, test engineering, and technician teams from architecture to mass production.
• Drive inclusive hiring pipelines and onboarding to grow team capability.
• Own hardware program plan, master schedule, risk register, and resource allocation.
• Define electronics development roadmap with architects and translate into quarterly priorities.
• Align embedded software investments with program milestones and hardware readiness.
• Lead safety architecture delivery across cross-functional teams and gates.
• Coordinate software architecture decisions with platform, reliability, and manufacturing teams.
• Manage contract manufacturers and bring-up for electrical subsystems and PCBA testing.
• Oversee reliability and environmental test programs, tracking results to release criteria.
• Serve as integration point across mechanical, software, and science teams to resolve cross-functional dependencies.
• Manage vendor relationships for PCBs, wiring, sensors, battery systems, and charging electronics.
