Job summary

Honda Development and Manufacturing of America, LLC is seeking an Electrical Design Robotics engineer in Marysville, Ohio to deliver high-quality robotic hardware, software, and safety designs for new model introductions across North American facilities.

The role requires a BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent with experience), 0–2 years of experience, and skills in Microsoft Office and robot CAD simulation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level Engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related Manufacturing discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and robot CAD simulation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare installation plans, schedules, and deliverables for robotic systems.
• Create documentation deliverables for robotic system installation.
• Act as designated project leader for small-scale developments and manage execution.
• Support or perform simulation studies for robotic applications.
• Support Electrical and Mechanical Manufacturing with system installation and troubleshooting.
• Perform robot programming in online and offline scenarios.
• Coordinate robot programming contractors and validate work.
• Attend equipment design reviews and provide technical advice.
