Job summary

Kforce is seeking a CAD TECH in North Reading, MA to create and maintain Robotics floor layouts in AutoCAD across concept, firm, and deployment phases. The role demands high precision, grid alignment, interference resolution, and adherence to design checklists and naming conventions.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering ideal (Industrial and Mechanical).
• 2+ years of operating experience in AutoCAD with ability to work and manage layers.
• 2 years of AutoCAD experience.
• 1+ years of experience drawing in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment or anything with process flow design.
• MS Excel experience (must have Pivots, VLOOKUPs, Calculations cell by cell type of work).
• Program experience C++.
• Basic knowledge of material handling and storage systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Robotics floor layouts in AutoCAD across Concept, Firm, and Deployment design phases.
• Ensure proper cell grid alignment, component spacing, and resolution of physical interferences (columns, HVAC, expansion joints, fire shutters).
• Prepare deployment deliverables and standardized drawing sets for the global network of robotic fulfillment centers.
• Interpret building shell composites and external references and work with minimal direction.
