Job summary

Advanced Construction Robotics, Inc. in Allison Park, PA is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our fleet of construction robots both in the field and at the facility.

You will work directly with customers, supervision, and internal teams to ensure equipment performance and customer success. The role involves up to 50% travel across North America, with additional time at the Allison Park site for manufacturing, assembly, and testing.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of technical service, maintenance, or field service experience
• 1-2 years of mechanical assembly experience
• 1-2 years of electrical panel wiring or harness assembly experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
• Basic computer proficiency
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency service repairs on robotic equipment and Tie Modules
• Respond to customer and field support requests as an on-call technical resource
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues in robotic systems
• Coordinate repair efforts with the Field Operations team
• Travel to active construction sites to troubleshoot and restore equipment to operational status
• Provide hands-on customer training covering robot operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Assist field operations personnel during periods of increased deployment activity
• Travel comfortably via company service truck or airline as needed
