Job summary

Lab37 Robotics is seeking a Field Services Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA. The role focuses on onsite support, maintenance, repair, installation, and recovery of Lab37 robotic systems, coordinating with triage, engineering, and operations to resolve escalations.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering background, 2+ years in field service, and hands-on experience with electromechanical systems, wiring, and fabrication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of field engineering or maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Hands-on skills with tools, fabrication, cable repair and testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary onsite support for prototypes, pilots, ramp deployments, and scaled operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and system issues in the field.
• Collaborate with triage, engineering, software, and operations teams to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain service procedures, manuals, and field checkouts.
• Travel to customer sites and support deployments as needed.
• Assist in building repeatable field service processes.
