Job summary
Alliance Automation is seeking a Robotics Engineer to design, program, commission, and support industrial robotic systems used in custom automation equipment. This hands-on role requires strong programming, integration, and troubleshooting experience, with ownership of robotic applications from concept through customer acceptance.
You will collaborate with Controls Engineers, Mechanical and Electrical Designers, and Applications teams while supporting projects at Alliance Automation and customer
Qualifications
- 5+ years in industrial robotics/automation experience.
- Experience with major robot platforms (FANUC, Yaskawa, ABB, Kawasaki, KUKA).
- Strong robotic motion, coordinate systems, and programming knowledge.
- Experience integrating robots with PLC/PAC systems and networks.
- Willingness to travel to customer facilities.
Responsibilities
- Robot programming and commissioning for material handling, machine tending, and assembly.
- Integrate robots with PLC/PAC systems, safety, vision, and endpoints.
- Develop robot programs, motion strategies, frames, and recovery routines.
- Support projects from concept through customer acceptance and runoff.
- Share standards, templates, and knowledge with engineers and technicians.
