Job summary

Alliance Automation, LLC is looking for an engineer to design, develop, and support machinery for various industries. The role demands collaboration with different teams to ensure safe and compliant designs that meet customer specifications. You will lead projects, conduct design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and manage technical risks while maintaining performance and cost efficiency.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, 5–10 years of relevant experience, and advanced skills in CAD. The position may require travel and offers excellent benefits including medical and 401k.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in custom automation or complex machinery design.
• Proven experience owning full machines or large subsystems from concept through FAT/startup.
• Demonstrated ability to identify technical risks and manage design tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mechanical Design of Major Systems or Projects: Own architecture, integration, and technical outcomes.
• Drive Cross‑Functional Design Reviews: Ensure designs meet safety, manufacturability, and performance requirements.
• Mentor Level I & II Engineers: Provide day‑to‑day guidance and technical support.
