Job summary

Lab37 Robotics in Pittsburgh is seeking an EDS/Schematic/Harness Engineer to own the electrical distribution system and wire-harness design for our robotic food-production systems. You will translate architecture into detailed schematics, harnesses, BOMs and production drawings, driving releases and documentation.

You’ll collaborate across electrical, mechanical, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams to resolve design tradeoffs, support prototype builds, and ensure robust, manufacturable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years designing and releasing electrical distribution or wire-harness systems for robotics or related industries.
• Experience with database-driven E-CAD platforms and library management.

Responsibilities

• Migrate and maintain the electrical design in an enterprise E-CAD database.
• Create schematics, harness drawings, pinouts, BOMs and assembly docs.
• Collaborate across electrical, mechanical, firmware, software and manufacturing teams.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and production release activities.
• Lead DFM/DFA and supplier engagement for production-ready designs.
