Stryker Corporation in Portage, MI is seeking an Electrical Engineer to own the electrical design for Mako robotic end effectors, supporting development, integration, testing, and ongoing improvements. You’ll work across hardware, software, and mechanical teams to deliver reliable, safe, and high‑quality medical devices.

Responsibilities include schematic design, PCB development, part selection, prototype testing, and root‑cause analysis.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; 2+ years in engineering required.
• Experience designing, developing, building, testing, and troubleshooting electrical hardware.
• Familiarity with Altium Designer and PCB development.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and support electrical components and subsystems for Mako robotic end effectors, taking ownership of assigned electrical designs throughout the development lifecycle.
• Translate product requirements into electrical engineering specifications, circuit designs, and technical solutions.
• Perform schematic design, PCB development, component selection, and electrical hardware integration activities.
• Build and evaluate prototypes, conduct bench testing, and validate electrical functionality and performance.
• Troubleshoot electrical hardware and system‑level issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
• Integrate electrical hardware with mechanical, software, and other system components to support reliable robotic system performance.
• Evaluate existing designs, identify opportunities for improvement, and support ongoing product development and engineering changes.
• Conduct electrical testing, verification activities, and technical investigations to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including schematics, design specifications, test procedures, technical reports, and design history records.
• Collaborate with Systems, Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and support successful product development.
