Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking a Electrical Engineering Co-Op to join Atlas Electrical Engineering and help design, build, and troubleshoot compact electrical systems in robots. You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to design and support complex robotic systems, prototype circuits, and test electromechanical subassemblies.

The role requires pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, familiarity with schematics, strong analytical skills, and experience with

Qualifications

Actively pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
Familiarity with reading schematics and circuit fundamentals.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Experience with Python or MATLAB.
Hands-on electronics experience with lab equipment like oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and soldering equipment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Work with a multidisciplinary team of mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to design and support complex robotic systems.
Assist with design, prototyping, and testing of circuit boards and electromechanical subassemblies.
Troubleshoot and root cause challenging electrical and systems problems.
