Job summary

DoorDash Labs is seeking an Electrical Engineer to review electrical designs, schematics, and boards for a four‑wheeled autonomous delivery robot. You will deliver robust hardware across high‑speed digital design, PCBA development, RF integration, harnessing, and board packaging.

This deeply technical role requires system-level thinking and detailed circuit execution to move from concept to production, collaborating with mechanical, firmware, robotics, and reliability teams.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 3‑7+ years of experience designing complex embedded hardware systems.
• Strong expertise in high-speed digital design, multi-layer PCB design, signal integrity, RF integration, and cable harness design.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical systems for a complex mobile robotic platform from concept through production.
• Lead high-speed digital design efforts (PCIe, MIPI, Ethernet, DDR, multi‑gigabit SERDES).
• Own PCBA development including schematic capture, stack‑up definition, layout guidance, impedance control, and DFx.
