Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience designing PCBs through coursework, internships, or projects.
  • Hands-on board bring-up, testing, debugging, and rework experience.
  • Comfortable using lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, soldering tools.
  • Ability to take defined electrical projects from requirements through design, bring-up, and testing.
  • Attention to detail; able to own documentation, component management, and manufacturing follow-through.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work with more experienced engineers.
  • BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Own well-scoped board designs and support testing, manufacturing, and maintenance of electrical systems across the robot.
  • Design teleoperation IMU boards, cable testers, adapter PCBs, or ToF sensor clusters; bring up and debug for reliable builds.
  • Manage component libraries, supply chain details, and work with PCB manufacturers; identify single-source components.
