Job summary

Aptiv is seeking an Embedded Systems Architect to design, develop, and optimize robotics and drone hardware and software. You will drive architecture, integration, and deployment of embedded platforms spanning sensing, edge computing, autonomy, and ML-based perception across multiple platforms and customer environments.

You will work closely with autonomy, localization, safety, hardware, data, and product teams to ensure performance, safety, and business objectives while transforming early

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field such as Systems Engineering, EE, CE, or CS.
• 5+ years of embedded systems experience in robotics, automotive, drones, or related fields.
• Strong experience in embedded software and system design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded architectures for AMR and drone platforms.
• Lead sensor integration, data pipelines, perception, and real‑time software.
• Collaborate with product, hardware, and software teams to meet requirements and schedules.
• Evaluate technologies to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Perform system bring‑up, integration, validation, and troubleshooting across hardware/software domains.
