Job summary

Patterson-UTI is seeking a Technical Product Manager for Robotics Solutions to define product strategy and automation requirements for robotic drilling systems. You will bridge operations, engineering, customers, and partners to translate challenges into actionable technical specs and workflows.

You will lead cross-functional teams, develop roadmaps, and validate concepts through testing and field deployments, ensuring customer value and operational performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in drilling operations, automation, or related technical field.
• 3+ years leading multidisciplinary product development or technical projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering and product development activities.
• Experience with Agile product development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the product roadmap for Patterson-UTI's robotic drilling solutions.
• Define automated workflows for drilling connections, tripping, and pipe handling.
• Translate workflows into engineering requirements and PRDs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, customers, and vendors.
• Support FAT/SAT, field deployments, and product commercialization.
