Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking an experienced automation and robotics deployment leader for a contract role across multiple US sites, including Puerto Rico. The contractor will drive opportunities, define requirements, and lead projects from definition through startup, partnering with site stakeholders and external system integrators.

Deep hands-on robot programming is not required, but evaluating or deploying robotics in brownfield manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

Experience with industrial robotics deployments in brownfield environments.
Ability to translate workflows into requirements and deliverables.
Strong stakeholder leadership across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day execution of automation and robotics projects with scope, schedule, budget and risks.
Engage site functions to understand workflows, constraints, and outcomes.
Conduct on-site assessments to surface brownfield constraints early.
Translate needs into project scope, requirements, success criteria, and deliverables.
Assess opportunities, evaluate deployment risk, and coordinate with vendors and partners.
Provide technical oversight and challenge vendor recommendations without detailed design work.
Document progress, decisions, and risk for handoffs and reporting.
Travel within the US and Puerto Rico as needed.
