Maxinsights in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Systems Software & Middleware Engineer to develop and optimize high-performance software for robotics data collection systems. You will work across software and hardware interfaces to build reliable device-side data recording systems and efficient data communication middleware.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, EE or related field.
Strong C++ or Python with solid fundamentals.
Experience with Linux development and build tools.
Familiarity with TCP/UDP and serial communication.
Proven ability to own a software module lifecycle.
Strong debugging and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

Integrate hardware and software systems for data collection and optimization.
Develop on-device data recording and storage for video, audio, and IMU data.
Design and implement device-side high-performance middleware for data exchange.
