Maxinsights in the United States is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge our robotics data engine with Embodied AI R&D teams globally. This role is 100% data- and software-driven, with no on-site hardware deployment.

You will design dataset specifications, generate multimodal simulation data, and govern data quality across large-scale pipelines, collaborating across US and China teams. Applicants should excel in Python, 3D spatial math, and simulation toolchains and thrive in a fast

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python with software engineering literacy (Git, Docker, Shell).
• Experience with large-scale multimodal data processing tools (Pandas, NumPy, Arrow, HDF5).
• Solid foundation in 3D spatial mathematics including quaternions and FK/IK.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Embodied AI and World Model researchers to define input data specs.
• Translate data needs into precise Dataset Specifications (Specs).
• Plan distribution of target datasets to cover routine and long-tail scenarios.
• Extend and run Maxinsights' 3D simulation engines for large-scale data synthesis.
• Write Python/Bash scripts to generate trajectories, perception video streams, and 3D data.
• Oversee data curation, filtering, calibration, and quality inspections.
